Sri Lalithambika Jyothish Gurukulam
Sri Lalithambika Jyothish Gurukulam has been established by
Dr. Sri Jagannatha Swami, eminent philosopher, a Doctorate Scholar in Philosophy from Madurai Kamaraj University and an internationally known Vedic Astrologer with 25 years of experience.
The main objective of Sri Lalithambika Jyothish Gurukulam is to teach Vedic Astrology, Indian Astronomy and allied subjects to the true seekers.
The Gurukulam plans to carry out the following activities:
• Conducting classes on Vedic Astrology, Indian Astronomy and allied subjects.
• Publishing books, journals, magazines and print manuscripts related to the ancient wisdom in modern and scientific perspective.
• Conducting seminars, workshops, training programmes and conferences at national and international levels.
• Conducting certificate and diploma courses in English and Tamil media through direct, distance and online programmes.
• Guiding the general public through astrology, life counseling and life coaching.
• Conducting Vedic rituals for the welfare of the individuals, families of the followers and for Global peace and harmony.
Location:Situated in the vicinity of the famous Sri Lalithambikai Amman temple, Periya Thadakam at the foothills of Sri Anuvavi Subramaniar Temple the Gurukulam has well established class rooms and a library with hundreds of reference books on astrology and related topics.
Inauguration:
His Holiness Pujya Sri Dayananda Saraswathy Swamiji has showered his blessings towards this noble mission by accepting to inaugurate the Gurukulam with his sacred hands on 2nd July 2011 by 4.30 PM. We cordially invite all to attend the function.
Participation:
We request all well wishers to support this endeavor with suggestions, generous donations towards printing and publication of text books, manuals and manuscripts, providing food to the students, donating used or new books to the library, donating for the Vedic rituals and propagating the message widely.
Enrolment:
The institute begins firstly a Certificate Course in Vedic Astrology through direct distance education system. The duration of the course is six months and the lessons will be dispatched every week through post. It is compulsory that the students must submit a thesis about 50 pages at the completion of the course. The successful students will be conferred with a certificate as “Vedic Astrologer”.
The fees for the course is Rs.2400/-. The fees should be paid in favor of SHRI LALAITHAMBIGA TRUST, payable at Coimbatore through Demand Draft. For details of the syllabus please apply with your name, date of birth, address and phone number to the Gurukulam.
